Magnolia Blooms in Vellum

Hello Stampers ~ are you curious how I made my Magnolia Blooms in Vellum?

We have a day of shopping planned for today.  We will go back to the show and visit the vendors to see what we want to purchase.  Then we will head to the other mall and check out a few stores there.  We may even stop at the outlets on our way home.  We will get back late but that is okay as we needed this weekend away.  I am hoping I had success at the show.  I will let you know if I got anything or not.

The Magnolia’s are very hot right now.  Everyone has that stamp set and have created some beautiful cards with it.  I did not get the set as I felt the large image was too limiting.  I did however get another set that has a smaller Magnolia bloom in it.  The set is not in the catalog but it is in the online store under Experience Creativity Projects tab.  I am glad they have this set as I will be doing a class using it.  I decided to white emboss the image and then color the back of the image using alcohol markers.  The images were then cut out.  To the Blushing Bride card base I added a section of a retired  silver doily near the bottom using Tear & Tape.  The other section of the doily was added at the top.  The Layering Circles and Whisper White card stock were used to cut out a scalloped circle.  The circle was added to the card base at the upper left hand section using dimensionals.  The cut out magnolias were added on top of the scallop circle using glue dots.  My sentiment came from Butterfly Gala and was stamped using Old Olive ink.  The ends of the banner were flagged.  I used a slightly larger strip of Old Olive card stock and flagged each end.  The 2 strips were attached and then added to the lower right hand corner of the card base using dimensionals.  To finish off the card 3 large rhinestones were added in the upper right hand corner.  Here is the completed Magnolia Blooms in Vellum.

Magnolias on a pink card are so pretty. Check out these Magnolia Blooms in Vellum by clicking the photo.
